The Nikon Z5 is a compact FX-format mirrorless camera designed for both photo and video creators. It features a 24.3MP CMOS sensor with an EXPEED 6 processor, delivering sharp images, low noise, and wide sensitivity up to ISO 51,200. You can shoot at 4.5 fps and record UHD 4K video at 30 fps.

The body is built with a weather-sealed magnesium alloy, making it durable for outdoor use. A 3.6m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder ensures clear eye-level viewing, while the 3.2″ tilting touchscreen helps you shoot from creative angles. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect with the Nikon SnapBridge app for quick sharing and remote control.

24.3MP FX-Format CMOS Sensor and EXPEED 6 Image Processor

The 24.3MP full-frame sensor and EXPEED 6 processor combine to produce detailed, vibrant images and smooth color transitions. The native ISO range of 100–51,200 (expandable to 102,400) supports shooting in bright light or extreme low-light conditions. Continuous shooting at 4.5 fps captures fast-moving moments, while Eye-Detection AF ensures sharp focus on human and animal subjects. The hybrid 273-point autofocus system provides fast and accurate performance for both photos and video.

UHD 4K Video Recording

The Nikon Z5 records UHD 4K video at up to 30 fps and Full HD at 60 fps. UHD 4K uses a 1.7x crop of the frame, while Full HD uses the entire sensor. You can also create 4K time-lapse videos in-camera and save footage internally or externally via HDMI output.

Sensor-Shift Vibration Reduction

The built-in 5-axis sensor-shift VR (Vibration Reduction) system provides up to five stops of stabilization for sharper handheld shots. When using adapted lenses via the FTZ Adapter, 3-axis stabilization is supported. Electronic VR further stabilizes video footage during handheld recording.
