Additionally, this bright maximum aperture allows for high-quality captures even in dimly lit shooting scenarios. Not only is the FE 16-25mm f/2.8 dust and moisture-resistant, but it features a fluorine coating on the front lens element to repel fingerprints, water, and oil from accumulating. The de-clickable aperture ring is a massive benefit to video shooters to ensure smooth transitions.

Three Dedicated Control Rings

For making quick adjustments while shooting, three control rings are available: focus, zoom, and aperture. The aperture ring has the option of being set to click to provide tactile feedback when capturing photos, or it can be turned off in order to give you smooth, silent control while shooting video.
