The Sony FE 135mm f/1.8 GM is a medium telephoto prime prized for its ability to isolate subjects with stunning clarity. Its bright f/1.8 aperture and advanced G Master optics make it ideal for portraits, close-range sports, and creative landscapes. Designed for both sharpness and beautiful bokeh, it also features fast autofocus and a rugged build.

Fast Design and Advanced Optics

As part of the G Master series, this lens delivers exceptional resolution by correcting spherical and chromatic aberrations. The wide f/1.8 aperture enhances low-light performance and allows greater depth-of-field control.
A rounded 11-blade diaphragm produces smooth, pleasing bokeh. One XA element and two extra-low dispersion elements, including a Super ED element, minimize distortion, color fringing, and chromatic aberrations. Nano AR Coating reduces flare, ghosting, and reflections, ensuring high contrast and accurate colors even in strong light.

Fast and Accurate AF

The XD Linear Motor system with internal focusing provides quick, quiet, and precise AF. It also ensures natural manual focus control. With a minimum focusing distance of just 2.3 ft (0.7 m), you can capture close-ups at 0.25x magnification.
Two customizable focus hold buttons offer quick access to preferred settings, enhancing responsiveness during fast-paced shoots.

Weather-Sealed Construction and Intuitive Handling

A physical aperture ring allows smooth, silent adjustments, and you can de-click it for video work. The dust- and moisture-sealed design supports shooting in harsh environments, while rubberized control rings improve grip in cold weather.
The front element’s fluorine coating resists dust, fingerprints, and moisture, making it easier to clean.
