Compact and lightweight, the CRANE-M2 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer from Zhiyun-Tech is designed for compact cameras, smartphones, and action cams up to 1.58 lb (an optional mount is required for action cams). Its small design allows you to move your camera freely for extended periods and makes it easy to carry whether traveling or filming nearby. Despite its compact size, the CRANE-M2 provides the essential features that have made gimbals revolutionary for camera support.
The CRANE-M2 delivers 360° pan, 310° tilt, and 324° roll rotation across six operation modes, including POV and Vortex. It runs for approximately 7 hours on a built-in battery that charges via the included micro-USB cable. Using built-in Wi-Fi, the gimbal syncs with compatible cameras to control zoom, shutter, and video start/stop remotely via the gimbal’s zoom rocker and controls. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to use the ZY Play app for iOS and Android, unlocking extra features like time-lapse, panorama, and slow-motion capture.
An OLED display shows the selected mode, battery status, and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity. The CRANE-M2 also features a quick-release camera mount, scale marks, and memory locks to help balance your camera and secure its position. A hand strap and mini tripod are included; the tripod attaches to the bottom as a stand or extension for better handling.
