Transmit, receive, and monitor high-quality wireless video transmissions using the versatile Hollyland Pyro 7 & Pyro S 4K. The Pyro 7 takes the previous M1 transceiver/monitor and makes everything bigger and better with a bright 7″ touchscreen display, dual L-series battery plate, wireless transmission up to 1300′ away, updated HollyOS imaging tools, SD card video recording, HDMI/SDI input/output, RTSP streaming, one Pyro 7 sends to up to four receivers, as well as auto dual-band 2.4/5 GHz hopping and auto-frequency hopping.

Broadcast Mode

The Hollyland Pyro 7 & Pyro S 4K features wireless broadcast technology that enables one transmitter to connect to up to four receivers with stable, line-of-sight signals. When Broadcast mode is activated, the transmitter can transmit signals to a maximum of four receivers, and when it’s deactivated, the transmitter can transmit signals to up to two receivers and two mobile devices.

Large, Bright Monitor

The Pyro 7 features a 7″ display with a brightness of 1200 cd/m², so it’s clearly viewable whether you are in bright sunlight or dim environments. The screen brightness is adjustable for optimal performance.

Versatile I/O

The Pyro 7 can be switched to be a transmitter or receiver. When in transmitter mode, the monitor features one HDMI input, one SDI input, one HDMI loop output, and one SDI loop output. When in receiver mode, it features one SDI output, one HDMI output, and one SDI loop output.

Quick Source Switching

The transceiver enables seamless connection with all Pyro series units using a grouping preset. You can group multiple devices and instantly switch monitoring between two cameras by utilizing two customizable buttons.

Long Transmission Range

Utilizing 2.4 and 5 GHz dual-band technology, the Pyro 7 features a stable line-of-sight transmission range of up to 1300′ with a minimal transmission latency of 60ms with no image degradation. There are two transmission modes to choose from: Smooth mode adjusts the transmission for the lowest latency for longer distances, and HD mode optimizes the image with a stable bitrate up to 12 Mb/s, even up to 1300′ away.

Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH)

With Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) and Auto Frequency Hopping (AFH) technologies operating on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, the Pyro 7 can automatically choose the clearest channel for reliable and uninterrupted wireless video transmission. These technologies address common issues such as signal interference, low transmission efficiency, and frequency congestion. The omnidirectional high-gain antennas also ensure stable signals in all directions.

RTMP Streaming

With built-in RTMP streaming, you can easily stream video to popular live broadcast or conferencing platforms like Zoom, YouTube Live, Twitch, TikTok Live, and more.

Video Recording to SD Card

The Pyro 7 features an SD card slot that supports extended mp4 video recording of up to 40 minutes in a single session using an external standard SD card. You can also use an SD card to apply custom LUTs during video export. It features file organization and supports a streamlined editing workflow. You can also import data from external devices and ingest on-set screenshots, overlaying them onto the current recording screen for scene restoration or replication purposes.

Image Tools

The custom shortcut key feature that can be used for dual-view monitoring can also be used to quickly launch image tools such as waveform, recording, focus assist, and other image analysis functions.

Durable Yet Lightweight Construction

The case of Pyro 7 is made of aerospace-grade magnesium-aluminum alloy with a robust, rigid design that is 30% lighter and better at heat dissipation than aluminum-only models.

Hollyland Pyro S 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System

Add 4K30 wireless video transmission to your production using the versatile Pyro S 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System from Hollyland. The system includes a wireless transmitter, a wireless receiver, seven antennas, a USB-C adapter, a DC power adapter, and an adjustable shoe adapter mount. The transmitter provides HDMI and SDI inputs and features extremely low 50 ms latency that sends line-of-sight transmission from up to 1300′ away to the included receiver. When using broadcast mode using up to four receivers and two mobile devices, the system supports up to 650′ away. The receiver outputs to HDMI and SDI.

Each Pyro S unit is equipped with a USB-C port that supports plug-and-play UVC operation, so it can seamlessly plug into a computer and utilize the wireless video for streaming and conferencing applications. A built-in frequency scanner allows you to select the clearest frequency for your transmission and features a bright LCD for configuration. Each unit can be powered using a separately available locking DC power adapter or an L-series type battery using an optional battery plate.

Long Distance, High Quality

The Pyro S Wi-Fi broadcast technology enables one transmitter to connect to four receivers with stable signals, offering more flexibility when additional monitoring needs emerge on set. When Broadcast mode is activated, the transmitter can transmit signals to at most four receivers, and the line-of-sight range reaches 650′. When Broadcast mode is deactivated, the transmitter can transmit signals to at most two receivers and two mobile devices, and the line-of-sight range extends up to 1300′.

Strong Signal Strength

At a stable transmission range of up to 1300′, the Pyro S features latency as low as 50ms. Compared to the Mars series, whose transmission range extends at the cost of image quality and latency, the Pyro S excels with increased transmission distance while preserving video quality and minimizing latency. The transmitter/receiver combo also provides two modes for users to tip the balance between image quality and latency, with HD mode for better image quality with bitrate at up to 12 Mb/s and Smooth mode for a dynamic change in latency.

Smart Channel Scan

Upon startup, Pyro S automatically chooses a high-quality frequency channel, optimizing the user experience from the outset. Additionally, users can activate the smart channel scan function on the receiver to view real-time feedback on the frequency status, thus ensuring an uninterrupted and reliable experience.

Easy Setup
