The compact and capable Nikon Z5 with Z 40mm f/2 is a full-frame FX-format mirrorless camera built for photo and video needs. It features a 24.3MP CMOS sensor and EXPEED 6 processor that deliver sharp images, wide ISO sensitivity up to 51200, and UHD 4K video at 30 fps. You can also shoot continuously at 4.5 fps.

The magnesium alloy body is weather-sealed, ready for tough conditions. A 3.6m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder provides crisp eye-level viewing, while a 3.2″ tilting touchscreen LCD makes low- and high-angle shots easy. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with the Nikon SnapBridge app let you transfer files and control the camera remotely.

24.3MP FX-Format CMOS Sensor and EXPEED 6 Image Processor

The FX-format 24.3MP sensor with EXPEED 6 offers high sensitivity and clean results in any light. ISO ranges from 100–51200, expandable to 102400 for low-light shooting. You get smooth color, reduced noise, and consistent image quality. The 273-point hybrid AF system uses phase- and contrast-detection for fast focus. Eye-Detection AF works for humans and animals in both stills and video.

UHD 4K Video Recording

Record UHD 4K at 30 fps or Full HD at 60 fps. Save video directly to dual SD cards or an external recorder via HDMI. A built-in time-lapse mode creates finished UHD 4K time-lapse videos in-camera.

Sensor-Shift Vibration Reduction

Built-in to the body is a 5-axis sensor-shift Vibration Reduction (VR) mechanism that compensates for up to five stops of stabilization regardless of the lens in use. This system also works with adapted lenses, when using the optional FTZ Adapter, where 3-axis stabilization is used. Also, benefitting video recording, Electronic VR is available to help steady footage to suit handheld shooting.
