Sitting at a sweet-spot in terms of resolution, the 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor strikes a fine balance between resolution, file size, speed, and low-light performance. This sensor is suitable for general photo tasks along with UHD 4K recording, as the file sizes are manageable enough to allow for quick continuous burst shooting and extended video recording.

DIGIC X Processor

Powered by the same DIGIC X processor found in Canon’s R3, the R10 delivers speed and precision. It shoots up to 23 fps with a silent electronic shutter or 15 fps with a mechanical shutter. The processor also expands ISO sensitivity from 100–32,000, with the option to push it to 51,200 for low-light situations.

UHD 4K Video Recording

The Canon EOS R10 records oversampled 6K video downsampled to sharp 4K at 30p or cropped 4K at 60p for more flexible shooting. For slow-motion content, it supports Full HD at 120p.
Additionally, you can record HDR-PQ 10-bit video in-camera or output clean 4K footage via the micro-HDMI port. Unlimited recording times ensure you never miss the action. For content creators, the camera includes a microphone port and a multi-function shoe for compatible accessories.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II

The advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system, inherited from the R3, features 651 autofocus points covering the entire frame. It intelligently detects and tracks people, animals, and vehicles, ensuring precise focus during both stills and video. Even in challenging light, down to -4 EV, it maintains sharp, reliable focus.

High-Resolution Viewfinder and LCD

A bright 2.36m-dot OLED EVF offers a lag-free, high-resolution viewing experience with a 120 fps refresh rate. The 3.0” vari-angle LCD touchscreen rotates for high, low, or front-facing angles, making it perfect for vlogging or creative compositions.

Practical Storage and Controls
