24.2MP Full-Frame Sensor and DIGIC X Processing
The R6 Mark II features a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor paired with the DIGIC X processor. This setup delivers vibrant, accurate colors and excellent low-light performance. It supports high-speed bursts of up to 40 fps with the silent electronic shutter or 12 fps with the mechanical shutter.
For action shots, the 30 fps RAW Burst Mode captures moments up to 0.5 seconds before you press the shutter. The expanded ISO range of 100–102,400 (up to 204,800) lets you shoot confidently in difficult lighting.
UHD 4K Video Recording
Record UHD 4K 60p using the full width of the sensor for rich, oversampled quality. Capture 6K oversampled 4K at 30p for sharper details and reduced noise. For slow motion, enjoy Full HD at 180p.You can also shoot HDR PQ video in-camera or output clean 6K video up to 60 fps via micro-HDMI. When connected to a compatible recorder, you can capture ProRes RAW up to 6K 60p or 3.7K RAW with crop. Unlimited recording times and support for mic and headphone ports give you pro-level flexibility.

- Advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system features 1053 automatic AF points that cover the entire sensor area and provide notably fast, responsive, and precise focusing performance.
- This phase-detection focusing system also has enhanced subject detection and tracking, benefitted by deep learning technology, with the ability to intelligently recognize people, animals, and vehicles. Subject tracking will automatically lock onto these subjects and maintain sharp focus while shooting, even throughout burst captures and when recording video.
