DJI Ronin-S 2 Overview
Beyond Stabilization
Upgraded Movement and Control

The DJI Titan stabilization algorithm ensures smoother footage with improved stability. For lenses up to 100mm, the SuperSmooth feature adds torque and compensates for micromovements to deliver fluid motion (optional lens support required).
The RS 2 also introduces a 1.4-inch full-color LCD touchscreen, giving you direct access to gimbal settings and creative features like time-lapse and hyperlapse. Many additional functions are available through the companion Ronin app for iOS and Android.
The app includes:
Time Tunnel – combines roll motion with hyperlapse for a “twist” effect.
Track – creates repeatable camera paths for precise shots.
Force Mobile – lets the gimbal follow your smartphone’s movements.
When paired with the optional DJI RavenEye 1080p transmission system, Force Mobile becomes more responsive. RavenEye also enables ActiveTrack on the touchscreen with live subject monitoring.
Expand Your Rig with Compatible Accessories

The RS 2 has two RSA ports with electrical contacts, each with a NATO mount for fast accessory attachment. Supported add-ons include a focus wheel, a twist-grip dual handle, and a universal mount for use with cars, jibs, or sliders.
A mini tripod is included, attaching to the grip handle’s 1/4″-20 thread. It can act as a stand or as an extension handle for two-handed control. For protection, the RS 2 ships in a splash-proof carry case with custom compartments for the gimbal and accessories.
Compatible Cameras

- The RS 2 uses a dual-layer Manfrotto plus Arca-Swiss camera mounting system with two removable quick release plates.
- For social media content, the gimbal can be adjusted at the tap of a button to position your camera into portrait mode.
- To let you efficiently balance your camera, the RS 2 has an axis lock on each axis, so you can unlock and balance one axis at a time.
- A fine-tune balancing knob allows you to further dial in the optimal balance for your camera.
Fast Charging

- The RS 2 runs up to 12 hours on its battery cartridge, which secures to the grip handle. The cartridge can be swapped easily and recharged via USB Type-C, even when removed. The BG30 grip supports PD and QC 2.0 protocols, and DJI recommends using a 24W charger for 1.5-hour fast charging.
