The DJI RS 3 Gimbal Stabilizer is redesigned to be lighter and sleeker than the Ronin RSC 2, weighing only 2.8 lb while supporting up to 6.6 lb. It stabilizes cameras like the Sony a7S III or Canon R5 with a 24-70mm lens. Its larger full-color OLED display, new fine-tuning knob, and improved stability make RS 3 an essential tool for compact camera setups.
Quick Release Plates
Dual-layered quick release plates allow fast and convenient camera mounting. Swap batteries or memory cards without rebalancing the gimbal, saving time and effort.

Automated Axis Locks
Press and hold the power button when DJI RS 3 is off, and the three axes unlock while the gimbal expands automatically. Start shooting in just two seconds. Press once to lock the axes and enter sleep mode for efficient storage and transport.
Wireless Shutter Control
Dual-mode Bluetooth enables wireless shutter control, saving time and simplifying operations. Once paired, RS 3 automatically reconnects to previously paired cameras, eliminating cables. Control video or photo capture directly from the stabilizer.
Integrated Controls
- The new fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis allows millimeter-precise camera adjustments. Switch between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes quickly. Customize FPV mode to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom. The front dial controls zoom, focus, shutter, aperture, ISO, or gimbal movements, supporting convenient one-handed operation.
Third-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm
The next-generation stabilization algorithm increases stability by 20% compared to RSC 2, ensuring smooth footage for low-angle shots, running scenarios, or high-to-low transitions.
Get SuperSmooth Results
SuperSmooth mode boosts motor torque for enhanced stabilization. Capture smooth footage even with fast movement or long focal lengths up to 100mm equivalent.
1.8″ OLED Touchscreen
The 1.8″ OLED full-color touchscreen provides an 80% larger display than RSC 2. Adjust parameters, monitor settings, and navigate intuitively. It supports most Ronin app functions for seamless control.
Monitoring on Smartphone
RS 3 supports the Ronin Image Transmitter to stream 1080p30 HD feeds to a mobile device. Transmission reaches up to 656 ft with only 60 ms latency. You can also attach a smartphone to the NATO port for wireless monitoring.
Integrated Monitoring and Control
Remotely adjust camera exposure in the Ronin app or control the gimbal via the virtual joystick. Use a smartphone as a motion controller for dynamic camera movements and precise monitoring.
Enhanced Battery and Fast Charging
The new RS 3 battery grip features a cartridge design for easy swapping and compact storage. It provides up to 12 hours of runtime and supports 18W PD fast charging, reaching full charge in 2.5 hours. Use the gimbal while charging for near-continuous operation.
Intelligent Functions
The camera retains all the intelligent motion functions such as Dolly Zoom, Motionlapse, Track, Time Tunnel, and Panorama.
