The DJI RS 4 Pro Combo offers smoother operation, native vertical shooting, and a growing ecosystem of accessories—making it a powerful tool for mirrorless camera users. It weighs just 2.74 lb but supports payloads up to 10 lb, handling compact professional setups with ease. The combo includes a Focus Pro Motor, rod mount kit, Ronin Image Transmitter, focus gear strip, briefcase handle, and a carrying case.

Teflon-coated axes reduce friction, allowing smoother balancing and motion. Other intuitive features include a fine-tuning knob, an auto-locking OLED screen, and an RSA communication port for accessory integration.

Second-Generation Quick Release Plate Design

The RS 4 uses the familiar dual-layered quick release plates from its predecessor. However, it now features a redesigned horizontal plate that enables faster transitions to native vertical shooting. You can also adjust the tilt axis easily using the fine-tuning knob. Placement guides on the upper plate help you mount your camera more securely.

Second-Generation Automated Axis Locks

When powered off, holding the power button automatically unlocks all three axes and expands the gimbal in under two seconds. A single press locks the axes and puts the gimbal into sleep mode, making it easier to store and transport. In this second-generation design, smaller lock gaps reduce unwanted shake.

RSA Communication Port

The RSA communication port allows seamless integration with Ronin-series and third-party accessories. Thanks to the DJI RS SDK protocol, developers can build custom features and automation, offering you more control and adaptability.

Wireless Shutter Control

With Dual-Mode Bluetooth, you can wirelessly control your camera’s shutter. After the first pairing, the gimbal automatically reconnects—no cables required. You can start recording photos or videos with a single button press.

Updated ActiveTrack Pro

The updated ActiveTrack Pro delivers faster and more accurate tracking. It uses data directly from the Focus Pro LiDAR Autofocus, eliminating the need for the Ronin Image Transmitter. You can monitor and frame your subject right from the RS 4 Pro’s OLED touchscreen. Additionally, the optional LiDAR unit scans up to 76,800 points within a 20-meter range.

Integrated Controls

Switch between Pan Follow, Pan & Tilt Follow, and FPV using the gimbal’s new mode switch. You can also customize FPV mode into 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom. For added control, the trigger button can activate FPV behavior, allowing all three axes to follow your wrist movement.

Car Mount Mode

This mode is optimized for stabilization inside vehicles. It compensates for road vibrations and wind resistance, resulting in smoother footage during motion shots.

With improved motor torque (20% increase), the RS 4 Pro handles fast-paced motion, vertical framing, and low-angle shots more effectively than the RS 3. The new stabilization algorithm delivers cinematic smoothness in every movement.

Auto-Locking OLED Screen

The built-in OLED touchscreen now includes an auto-lock feature. When locked, it dims and displays current gimbal or joystick status to save battery and avoid accidental touches.

Integrated Monitoring and Control

Through the Ronin app, you can adjust camera exposure and gimbal movement with a virtual joystick. Pair it with the Ronin Image Transmitter, and your smartphone becomes a motion controller—great for remote setups and creative movement.

Enhanced Battery and Fast Charging

The updated battery grip has a cartridge-style design, making swaps quick and easy. It also charges separately from the gimbal. You’ll get up to 13 hours of runtime, with 18W PD fast charging that completes in just 1.5 hours. Even better, you can power the gimbal while charging, ensuring continuous operation.
